A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on bilateral consultations between the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) of the Swiss Confederation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Royal Government of Bhutan (RGoB), was signed in Bern on 12^th February 2018.

The MoU was signed by Ambassador Kinga Singye, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, RGoB, and by Ambassador Johannes Matyassy, Assistant State Secretary for Asia Pacific, on behalf of FDFA.

Under the MoU, consultations are to be convened every second year alternately in Thimphu and Bern to exchange views and strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
