The officials of the Royal Bhutanese Embassy along with the Bhutanese community in Dhaka joined the nation in celebrating the Birthday of His Royal Highness Gyalsey Jigmeย Namgyel Wangchuck by offering prayers for the long life, good health and happiness of HRH at theย Dharmarajika Buddhist Temple. ย The Prayers were recited by Venerable Suddhananda Mahathero, Chief Abbot and the monks from the Temple.
His Majesty the King and Gyeltseun had visited the Temple in 2013 and the Monks and office bearers were delighted that this auspicious occasion was conducted there.
Fish Tsethar (release of live fish) was also carried out at the Hatirjheel Lake in the morning.
