Bhutan was deeply concerned by the terror attack on Pathankot Airbase in Punjab, India on 2 January 2016. The Government and the people of Bhutan express their solidarity with the Government and people of India. Bhutan also extends our heartfelt sympathies to the families who have lost loved ones.

The sixth biennial consultations between Bhutan and the European Union were held in Thimphu today. During the consultations, the two delegations reviewed all aspects of bilateral relations between Bhutan and the EU, and discussed means to further strengthen the excellent cooperation between the two.
