Permanent Representative Ambassador Doma Tshering welcomed Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, the newly accredited Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations in New York.
Ambassador Kamboj assumed her current post on 2 August 2022. Prior to this, Ambassador Kamboj served as the Ambassador of India to Bhutan, beginning in 2019.
