His Excellency Mr. Jan Luykx, Ambassador of Belgium to Bhutan, presented his credentials to His Majesty the King at Tashichhodzong today.
His Majesty the King granted an audience to the Ambassador after the credentials ceremony. H.E. Mr. Luykx later called on Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay and met other senior officials of the Royal Government of Bhutan to discuss issues of mutual interest and cooperation.
Diplomatic relations between Bhutan and Belgium was established in November 2012. H.E. Mr. Luykx is the third Ambassador of Belgium to Bhutan and he is based in New Delhi.
