The Fourth Bhutan-India Development Cooperation Talks of the 11th Five Year Plan will be held in New Delhi, India on 2nd September, 2015. A 12 member Bhutanese delegation led by Foreign Secretary Tshering Dorji and comprising of senior RGoB officials will leave for New Delhi, India on 1st September 2015. The Indian delegation will be led by Ms.Sujatha Mehta, Secretary, Economic Relations & Development Partnership Administration of the Ministry of External Affairs, GoI.

The two sides will review the overall progress of PTA and SDP Projects, 11th Plan fund disbursement status, reprioritization of PTA projects and release of funds.

During the Third Bhutan-India Development Cooperation Talks of the 11th Five Year Plan which was held in Thimphu on 11th September 2014, 85 projects amounting to Nu.27,600 million was approved.

The Foreign Secretary Tshering Dorji is scheduled to call on H.E. Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary of India and other government officials of the Ministry of External Affairs, GoI after the talks. This visit to India is Mr.Tshering Dorjiโ€™s first official visit abroad after assuming the post of Foreign Secretary in May, this year.
