Bhutan was deeply concerned by the terror attack on Pathankot Airbase in Punjab, India on 2 January 2016. The Government and the people of Bhutan express their solidarity with the Government and people of India. Bhutan also extends our heartfelt sympathies to the families who have lost loved ones.No cause or grievance justifies such heinous crimes and Bhutan strongly condemns the terrorist act. While the Government of India and its security forces responded swiftly and contained the situation, the international community must renew their collective efforts to root out terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
