At the invitation of the Royal Government of Bhutan, Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako of Akishino will be visiting Bhutan in early June 2017. The Royal visit is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Bhutan and Japan.
Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako is the granddaughter of His Imperial Majesty Akihito, the Emperor of Japan. The Royal visit will be the third visit to Bhutan from the Imperial Family of Japan.
