Ambassador Kinga Singye, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva, presented his letters of credence to Ms. Ertharin Cousin, Executive Director of the World Food Programme on Monday, 6 February 2017 in Rome, Italy.

Following the credential ceremony, Ambassador Kinga Singye and the Executive Director reviewed ongoing cooperation between Bhutan and the WFP and explored ideas to further strengthen collaboration, particularly in areas relating to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Ambassador Kinga Singye delivered the original letter of invitation from the Honโ€™ble Foreign Minister of Bhutan to the Executive Director to participate in the 13th Round Table Meeting scheduled to be held in Thimphu from 15 to 17 March, 2017.
