H.E. Mr. Nils Ragnar Kamsvag, Ambassador of Norway to Bhutan based in New Delhi called on Hon’ble Foreign Minister Lyonpo Damcho Dorji on 28 May 2018 at Gyalyong Tshokhang. Ambassador Kamsvag is on a bilateral visit to Bhutan from 26-30 May 2018. He is accompanied by Second Secretary Mr. Kai Simon Yuen. During the meeting both sides acknowledged the good relations shared by the two countries since the 1960s and held discussions on exploring new areas of cooperation. The Ambassador also called on the Hon’ble Prime Minister and had meetings with senior officials of the Royal Government.

Formal diplomatic relations between Bhutan and Norway was established in November 1985.
