A three-member delegation from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, led by Dasho Yeshi Wangdi, Secretary, and officials from the Embassy of Bhutan in Geneva participated in a Bhutan Business Impulse Event held at the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich (HWZ) on 26 September, 2018. The event entitled โSwitzerland and Bhutan- Exploring Business Opportunities in Bhutanโ was organized by the Swiss Embassy in New Delhi and Switzerland Global Enterprise with the support of Society Switzerland Bhutan. The event was very successful with around 45 entrepreneurs, business representatives and other individuals attending it. It is expected to lead to a Swiss business delegation to Bhutan sometime in the first half of 2018.
As close friends, the event was an effort to further deepen the friendship through enhanced economic partnership and business links.
