On 31 December 2018 H.E. Ambassador Sonam Tobden Rabgye awarded Civil Service Medals to the local staffs who have been working for at least 10 years at the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Dhaka. The medalists are:
1. Mr. Sonam Dorji
2. Mr. Sukesh Chakma
3. Mr.Tapan Sarker
4. Mr. Ali Miah
Kutshab thanked the local staff for their valuable services and said this award is an initiative of His Majesty the King who is acutely aware of the contribution made by each individual in an organization and that the medals and certificates is in appreciation for their service and dedication. Kutshab said that without the local staff who performed many tasks it would be impossible to run any embassy.
