H. E. Ambassador Kunzang C. Namgyel presented her credentials to the UN Secretary-General, H. E. Mr. Ban Ki-Moon , on 25 February 2014 at the UN Headquarters in New York.
Ambassador Kunzang C. Namgyel was appointed Permanent Representative and Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the United Nations in New York following a Royal Kasho.
Ambassador Namgyel conveyed to the Secretary General the greetings of His Majesty the King and wished him continued success in the discharge of his important responsibilities. They also discussed ways to further enhance cooperation between Bhutan and the United Nations.
