Mr. Karma Tsering Namgyal who has been appointed as the Consul General, Royal Bhutan Consulate, Kolkata, formally joined office on 9th April 2014 coinciding with the 10th Day of the 2nd month of the Wood Male Year in the Buddhist calendar.
The affirmation of appointment was through the Royal Kasho dated 3rd January, 2014. H.E. Mr. Karma Tsering Namgyal is the second Consul General of Bhutan. The Royal Bhutan Consulate, Kolkata was established in 2009 with consular jurisdiction over the Indian States of West Bengal and Assam.
