Bhutan participating in the International Staff Week organized by VIVES UAS, Belgium

At the invitation of the VIVES University of Applied Sciences (UAS), Kutshab Tshering Gyaltshen Penjor attended the welcome dinner of the International Staff Week on 13 June 2022 at the Governor’s Residence in Bruges. Mr. Carl Decaluwé, the Governor of West-Flanders graced the opening dinner. 

Through the EU’s Erasmus+ programme, VIVES UAS has worldwide cooperation with partners in higher education. VIVES UAS is organising an International Staff Week on their campus in Bruges from 13-17 June, with their Erasmus+ partners from Bhutan, Cambodia, Philippines, India, South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Ukraine and Chile attending it. The event is aimed at facilitating exchange between staff and students from VIVES and their partner institutions, as well as between the partner institutions themselves. Eight staff from the Royal Thimphu College (Bhutan) are participating in the International Staff Week. Kutshab Tshering Gyaltshen Penjor interacted with the participants from Bhutan during the dinner.
