Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Brussels
The Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Brussels joined the Nation in celebrating the joyous occasion of the 117th National Day of Bhutan on 17 December 2024. The officials and staff led by Kutshab gathered at the Embassy in the morning to offer butter lamps, National Anthem and Zhabten for the long life of His Majesty The King.
In the evening, Ambassador Tshoki Choden hosted a reception at Sofitel Brussels, attended by officials of the Belgian government and European Union, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Honorary Consuls, Members of Friendship Associations of Bhutan in Europe and Bhutanese studying/ residing in Belgium and neighboring countries of Germany, France, Liechtenstein, and Netherlands. Ambassador Hubert Roisin, Chief of Protocol of Belgium and Ms. Paola Pampaloni, Deputy Managing Director for Asia and Pacific, European Union graced the Reception as the Guests of Honor.
Following the Reception on National Day, Kutshab Tshoki Choden hosted a lunch for Honorary Consuls and Members of Friendship Associations of Bhutan on 18 December.
