The Royal Government of Bhutan has implemented the following measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus:
- Two weeks restriction on all incoming visitors to Bhutan (including those on proposed official visits).
- School & institutes in Thimphu, Paro & Punakha closed for two weeks with immediate effect.
- During and after this restriction period, the Royal Government will assess the situation and determine whether to lift or prolong the restriction.
