Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Dhaka Just another WordPress site
The Royal Bhutanese Embassy and the Bhutanese community, including Bhutanese students, in Bangladesh celebrated the 115th National Day of the Kingdom of Bhutan at the Chancery on 17th December 2022.
The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National Flag, singing of the National Anthem followed by Marchang ceremony and lighting of butter lamps.
A live telecast of His Majesty The King’s address to the nation in Thimphu was also arranged for those gathered in the Embassy. The Bhutanese community in Bangladesh then recited Zhabten and offered Moenlam for the long life of Their Majesties the Kings and for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of Palden Druk Gi Gyalkhab.
In the afternoon, a friendly Khuru match was played between the Embassy officials and the Bhutanese students studying in Bangladesh as a part of the National Day celebrations.
The Embassy hosted a dinner for the Bhutanese community in Bangladesh at the Chancery.
