In commemoration of the 10-year glorious reign by His Majesty The King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and the birth of His Royal Highness The Gyalsey Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck and in celebration of the 109th National Day of Bhutan, Ambassador Major General V. Namgyel has launched the website of the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in New Delhi on 17 December 2016.
The website www.mfa.gov.bt/rbedelhi has a wealth of resources including information about the Embassy, Bhutan-India relations, Bhutan-India Hydropower relations, Bhutan-India economic relations, press releases, and news and event. It will also give visitors an overall impression of Bhutan such as its history, geography, cultural, environment, Gross National Happiness and recent statistical figures.
Further, Bhutanese officials will find information about visa formalities for travel abroad for official business and for travellers wishing to visit Bhutan as tourists or on business will also find relevant information.
